@97TJGUZZY , @Twilliamson , and I rolled out of B-L around 4:45 yesterday (Thursday September 3rd) west bound.
We got off to a rocky start, loosing a trailer tire still in Aiken County. The right rear went and it blew my fender off. Quick pit stop, throw bent fender in back of truck, and continue. About an hour later, right about the time I settled back in to driving, left rear blew. The fender flipped onto the trailer deck, but broke the mounts. I had 2 new Maxxis spares, but now we're out.
We got back rolling and Brooks found a Mavis Tire that was open until 8:30 (this was about 7:30) and had trailer tires. We got there, mounted 2, and swapped the two remaining 2.5 yr old Castle Rocks for the new Goodyears. As I was putting one of the originals in the trailer for spares, something stabbed me. 3rd one had cords sticking through the sidewall. So, $531.54 and 4 new goodyears later, we got back on the road.
We drove through the night and are currently in Oklahoma City. Hoping for Albuquerque tonight.
