Offroad Teardrop V2.0

The first version of our offroad Teardrop treated us very well for 2 years, but lately I had been daydreaming of ways that I would do it differently if given the chance. Rather than retrofit the existing camper I found it would be easier to start fresh. Sooooo... I started drawing version 2.

There were a few things that I knew could be better. I wanted to address a few shortfalls of the first design:

MaxFan instead of Fantastic Fan.
Larger Door opening with the bottom even with the floor
larger storage area with bigger door for accessing rear cargo
front storage area inside in the front.
6" more headroom (for kids bunk)

This will allow us to store everything in the back of the teardrop or in the front box and not need to store things in the camper.

This one is 5x9 and it was made by the same company @CrossCountryTeardrops

I added a couple k to what I sold my last one for. I opted to use some of the nicer parts this time for the build.

So I had always kept a torch in the camper for lighting fires and other pyro needs. It had been rolling around in a container. This time I found a water bottle holder for bikes that fit the torch perfectly. I mounted it standing up in the rear storage area.

I'm looking at doing some sort of stone guard on the camper possibly. They are very common in Australia, but not so much over here. I'm thinking something similar to this, but not sure. Its that or some god awful mud flaps on the tow vehicle.

Im surprised the rack on the front doesn't already protect it substantially.

the front above the coolers is white and gets pretty beat by road debris, but the fenders take the most beating.

How would you get power to the roof without drilling into the roof or running a cable up... wouldnt you be better with something like this https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-Driv...ateway&sprefix=flush+mount+led,aps,145&sr=8-7 mounted in the rear door?

still unsure how I'm getting power to them, thats why I havnet bought them yet. But the rear door isnt thick enough for those, and the power is going to be running under the camper from the tongue, currently there is no wiring going from the jeep to inside the camper. Best place would be on the fenders, or rear of the camper, but I havent figured out how yet.
