She's fixed!

I drove it again last night and figured out it was setting when the pedal traveled all the way up and slammed shut hard. I could even stick my foot under the pedal and lift it up and make it set on command.

There's no adjustment on the sensor, so I cut off the alignment pin, ovaled out the mounting holes, and turned the sensor slightly. All fixed now.

I had lost interest. Didn't drive it all summer. Now I'm remotivated to final clearance the exhaust and change the frame side track bar mount to get better steering angles.

The new Nittos are quite a bit bigger than the KM2s even though they're the same "size". I cut the wrap around portion of the front bumper off and trimmed the sheet metal behind the flares on the rear and they don't touch anything but plastic.

I also put as much negative caster in it as I could with the adjustability of the upper arms. I went from about 2.5 degrees to 5.5 degrees and it drives good. I need to lengthen the lower arms to get any more adjustment but they are single adjustable so I didn't get in to that.
